Support cancer research
De Nijbakker-Morra Stichting is in 1974 opgericht door mevrouw C.M. Nijbakker-Morra. De heer en mevrouw Nijbakker besloten hun gehele nalatenschap aan kankeronderzoek te besteden, nadat hun enige dochter, Erica Joy Nijbakker, aan kanker was overleden.
We support
The Nijbakker-Morra Foundation supports persons who carry out cancer research by providing:
Student cash prizes of 2500 euros for the best theses – submission before 1 November 17.00 hours (annually)
Internship scholarships Master students – submission before 1 April 17.00 (1st round) and before 1 October 17.00 (2nd round)
Stipendia researchers – submission before 1 December 17.00 (annual)
Project grants – we stopped this in 2019.
Submit an application for an internship scholarship or stipend if you have a commitment from the host institution that you are welcome.

Award ceremony 2025 – Interested parties welcome
The next festive presentation of the student awards will take place on
Wednesday, February 5, ’25 from 15.30-17.30 followed by a reception at Amsterdam UMC,
location AMC, room M2-126, Meibergdreef 9, 1105 AZ Amsterdam.
